[2016尼泊爾] 毅力比氣力重要,氧氣少要勇氣來補充,氣溫越低需要熱血來前住聖母峰基地營EBC

零晨四點半起床,導旅提醒今日氣溫極低和有雪,食過早餐後,五時半出發,出門時屋簷已有長長冰鐘乳,就知昨晚氣溫已降至冰點以下,而且有霧更吋步難行。
Wake up at 4:30am, the tour guide inform us that today's weather will be cold and have snow. We depart at at 5:30am after having breakfast. We can imagine how cold it was that night when stepping out the lodge.
今天是行程以來最艱苦的一天,整整走了8個小時!相信已超出個人極限,要上Cho La Pass, 先是緩慢的攀升,要行上機乎垂直山路,目測超過二十層樓高,雖要手腳並用,體力消耗極大,接近山頂感到有點神智不清,但好彩未至於高山反應前半段花4小時才能攻頂,那種成就感,真是無以言表。
Today we walked for 8 hours, the toughest day of the whole trip. Need to go through the Cho La Pass which is 5400m (the highest altitude of the trip), all the way up the mountain. With the vertical elevation and lack of oxygen, everyone is crawling as slow as a snail. We used 4 hours to reach the top with an exhausted body.

從Cho La Pass 往山下走,穿好冰爪,要穿過冰川上的積雪,要到山腳,先向下爬一個大的亂石堆,開始手腳並用,用近一個小時。接著是一路緩慢下坡,終於有平地,終於在離開Cho La Pass 3個小時後,來到了Zonglha。已經是下午2點了,我地也筋疲力盡,趕緊找了一個旅店,没有點了午飯,就直接休息。
Going down the Cho La Pass is as difficult as coming up, there's no proper path to go down, need to climb the piles of big rocks which consume lots of energy. Afterwards a long walk in snow. After 3 hours walk, we reached Zonglha and its already 2pm. Need a big rest after the exhausted day.

由於太太過於疲倦加上低溫,身體出現不適,到達旅館後,當地人一般送上蒜頭湯,味道麻麻,其實無法飲落吐,十分擔心引發高山症,直接入房休息。
Wife was not feeling well due to the tiredness and cold temperature. She was offered a garlic soup which they say its good for altitude sickness. Most important is having some good rest.
